Melanie Hubbert, Director of Events 
Melanie leads our private event department in planning and executing corporate, private and social events. With years of experience, she has played a vital role in the success of the Mavericks Event Center, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Lisa Graye, Event Manager
As the Event Manager, Lisa oversees the planning and production of each event. She brings her dedication and warmth to transform her client's vision into magic and memories.  With a background in exhibits and corporate events, Lisa understands well the importance of crafting an experience as unique as each group (or bride-to-be) she works with.  No detail is too small because every ingredient is an important part of the master recipe that will make your special occasion as festive or intimate as you hope it will be.  

Executive Chef, Federico (Fred) Godinez
Fred grew up in Cancun, Mexico, where his lifetime love of fresh seafood began. He takes great pride in sourcing local seafood and other fresh, local ingredients for the menu. More info on Fred click here.

Brewmaster James Costa
For the past 17 years, James Costa has had the pleasure of working at some of Northern California’s most notable breweries, assisting in the creation of some truly spectacular beers. Joining the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company in 2013, James has crafted new bolder, hoppier beers for our guests to enjoy, including the inaugural Devils Slide Tunnel Vision Ale, and brought home a Gold Medal/Best in Show at the CA State Fair in June 2013 for Ocho Barril Saison.
